The role of the Allocation Sheet Administrator is to be responsible for the production of accurate daily allocation sheets by supporting the Earthworks Works Managers, Foremen and Supervisors.
The role will be site based, with a desk in the Supervisor’s site cabins to ensure a close and efficient working relationship.
Part time working applications will be considered for this role for the right candidate.
Responsibilities:
As Allocation Sheet Administrator you will work alongside the wider team to:
• Update daily allocation sheets of up to 60 operatives and items of plant.
• Lead and take minutes of daily meeting between foreman and works managers to agree allocations.
• Allocate people and plant to the correct activities and cost codes.
• Cross reference allocations against electronic gate system Biosite gate entry system and/or other sources of data
• Present weekly allocation sheet reports to Package Managers and Commercial team.

• Able to challenge and hold accountable Works Managers and Supervisors to complete their tasks and provide information
• Be organised to ensure that availability windows of others are used when possible
• Able to manage data confidently use Excel/other tools to manipulate data efficiently
• Be curious and inquisitive to ensure data makes sense
• Attention to detail to pick out mistakes
• Able to summarise data so it makes sense to others
• Strive for improvement and ways to make the task easier / data model better
• Able to (or willing to find out how) to use other tools such as Power BI to find innovative solutions to problems and/or improvements to doing things
• Previous site experience in a similar role will be beneficial but not essential.
