Blackpool Housing Company has been set up with the core purpose of improving the quality of accommodation available to local residents in Blackpool. Our mission is to acquire poor quality and redundant properties then through significant investment, remodelling and renovations we are converting these properties into high quality, affordable homes for local residents to rent.
My Blackpool Home is the customer and landlord facing side to our business, providing lettings and property management services. Our experienced lettings team understand the diverse needs of the communities within Blackpool and provide a proactive approach to management. We tailor our services to guide and support tenants to set up home and maintain their tenancies effectively.
Lumen Housing is a bright and dynamic addition to supplement the work of Blackpool Housing Company, taking a pro-active lead in developing much needed affordable homes in Blackpool.
My Blackpool Home also provide support to Blackpool Council with essential services linked to homelessness. We support service users with accessing accommodation in the private rented sector that meets their needs and emergency circumstances.
What is our offer to Care Leavers?
Blackpool Housing Company will host group information sessions for care-leavers, these will delivered in small groups with an opportunity to gain a work placement if there is further interest from the attendee’s. The group information session will be delivered by the Management Team at Blackpool Housing Company
