The Wild Beer Co are recruiting for our Brewers Assistant role. As a signatory of the Care Leaver Covenant, we would like to encourage care experienced young people to apply for this opportunity.
This is an additional ‘supernumerary’ role in the company where, as a good practice and ethical employer, we are keen to offer support, guidance and training to a young person below the age of 25 to provide them with a real work experience opportunity for 6 months, to ultimately help them with their chosen career / secure employment. This is only possible with the support and funding of the Kick Start Scheme. In return, we ask for someone to provide an ‘additional pair of hands’ who is keen and interested in working for the Wild Beer Company.
Main Duties
You will help support our Brewing Team by assisting with the day to day operations of the brewing processes. This will include assisting with:
- Assisting with raw materials and equipment to be readily available to facilitate work
- Assisting with the production of wort, its fermentation, conditioning and finishing
- Safe loading and unloading of goods
- General cleaning and tidying of the brewing area
- Completing paperwork
- Other duties as necessary

- Setting up the paperwork for new customers and completing paperwork
