Milton Keynes University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust are proud to be a signatory of the Care Leaver Covenant and to provide opportunities for young people to achieve positive outcomes.
To support care leavers we will run ‘Careers in the NHS’ and employability skills sessions. These sessions will take place online every 4 weeks. You will gain an insight into what it is like to work for the NHS and what qualities and skills are required for our roles.
We are keen to encourage care leavers to apply for our opportunities e.g. apprenticeships and other suitable job roles, and we will inform the Covenant when suitable vacancies become available.
We will offer guidance to prospective applicants with a bespoke Trust session about the role and the organisation, application and interview skills and confidence building.
