From our offices in Sunderland the Clancy Group work with Northern Powergrid to deliver cable engineering services to support the electricity distribution network that powers the lives of 8 million people across 3.9 million homes and businesses in the Northeast.
In support of care leavers, we would like to offer work experience opportunities in our offices, where individuals can get a firsthand view of the work we do and whether they would like to work in the company or sector. Work experience sessions could include finance, stores, warehouse, customer service, project planning and plant hire with visits out to our sites with our Health and Safety Team.
We would also like to offer care leavers the opportunity to apply for a range of Apprenticeships dependent on what we have on offer at the time these can include apprenticeships in areas such Planning, customer driven works and more – these roles are normally available each year with induction taking place in September.
See website link https://www.theclancygroup.co.uk/jobs/
The Clancy Group pays the apprenticeship minimum wage and can offer progression routes to increase wages paid subject to performance standards being met.
All apprentices will be provided with mentoring support from a team of colleagues who all want to help young care leavers develop.
For those care leavers who would just like mentoring support in areas such as budgeting or finding work we can offer sessions with team members from our offices or online.
