Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Combined Authority is fully committed to supporting our care experienced young people and enabling their social, physical, and economic wellbeing.

We are ambitious for our care experienced young people and want to ensure they can access quality further and higher education and progress into good careers. We will use our leadership, funding and influence to:

  • Provide a Care Leavers Bursary for Care Leavers aged 19-22, who are resident in Cambridgeshire and Peterborough and enrolled on a course funded by us.
  • Independent and impartial careers advice and guidance through the National Careers Service.
  • Provide work experience and apprenticeship opportunities ourselves and broker opportunities from local businesses.
