London Skills & Development Network (LSDN) is offering a range of free courses and support to care leavers, including:
Education, Employment & Training
Tailored education, employment and training programmes. Provision is tailored to individual needs and specifically care leavers needs and challenges of care leavers to ensure additional support such as finance, welfare and wellbeing is embedded in all programmes and provision.
Mental & Physical Health –
Mental health support, health checks and mental health awareness courses, including mental health first aid training, nutritional advice and access to a wide range of keep advice and activities and access to support for those suffering from substance misuse difficulties.
Finance –
Financial literacy skills, advisory support and careers/employment support (including enterprise and business start-up) to enable you to achieve successful careers and financial independence. LSDN also provides work placements, internships and access to apprenticeship and job brokerage support.
