Study Programme (16-18yrs) and work placement – First Rung can support them to gain their maths, English and ICT qualification alongside level 1 in Business Administration, Customer Service or Early Years. This course is aimed at young people without Level 4 or above in maths and English GCSEs.
We offer traineeships to progress onto Level 2 and Level 3 apprenticeships in:
- Accounting (AAT)
- Business Administration
- Customer Service
- Early Years
- Teaching Assistant Support for 16-24 years old: ‘YES’ programme in partnership with REED. Provides individualised support for young people aged 16-24 years old with special education needs or disabilities.
The programme includes functional skills maths, English and ICT and employability skills to build confidence to progress onto an apprenticeship, employment, or further training.
We also offer Skill Up, Step Up, a partnership with Barclays and the Evening Standard to help unemployed 19–24-year-olds into the workplace. The focus of this 12-week course is to support employability workshops and develop the skills and attributes needed to gain employment. This can also include maths and English functional skills qualifications, if needed.
