We are currently recruiting for our Kickstart Hospitality Assistant roles. As a Hospitality Assistant, you will gain experience working across three teams to create a welcoming, home from home atmosphere for our guests.
The teams that you will be a part of are:
Catering– You will help to support the running of our self-service restaurants.
Housekeeping – Preparing bedrooms for our new guests and keeping everything clean.
Retail– Working in our on-site souvenir shop and bar.
You will receive a comprehensive induction and on-the-training and regular mentoring and coaching from your line manager and a learning development officer.
Whilst working for PGL, you will gain new skills and qualifications, including;
- CV Writing Skills
- Interview Technique & role play
- Job searching and job qualification techniques
- Access to over 200 e-learning modules
You will gain 3 vocational qualifications.
- Emergency First Aid
- Health & Safety Level 2
- Food Hygiene Level 2
Our Hospitality Assistant roles are based at 5 of our biggest children’s activity centres.

- Swindon, Wiltshire
- Hindhead, Surrey
- Weymouth, Dorset
As we offer on-site accommodation and meals, applicants can apply from anywhere in the country.
The Kickstart scheme role will last for 6 months, but we are keen to offer ongoing work afterwards.

To assist young people, PGL is helping applicants overcome any obstacles to taking up this role, including paying for replacement passports or birth certificates where needed or travel costs to start work.
