The Arukah Project C.I.C
We are an ambitious, innovative social impact enterprise based in the South of England, with aspirations to be a national project.
Our mission is to support those who are in contact with the Justice System to make a positive difference to their lives. We do this by helping them to manage their emotional responses to challenging situations.
As part of our Covenant commitment, we will offer a range of part-time paid and voluntary work opportunities in the areas of social media, marketing, research, admin and personal assistance (PA) to the director. As we grow, we hope to be able to offer full-time employment.
The roles will be home-based initially with some on-site work as it develops. You’ll need access to a laptop and good Wi-Fi connection.
In addition, we offer young people training to become co-facilitators in the program. Training will include techniques that we use which have had proven benefit in Adverse Childhood Trauma and PTSD helping regulate the nervous system and shift away from flight or fight responses.
There will be an option to progress into paid facilitators roles later, then if you enjoy that you can train to be practitioners within a new and emerging field of therapy.
