Care Leaver Covenant Signatory Central Fusion specializes in creating incredible event experiences. And, at this year’s Latitude Festival, in collaboration with Social Pantry, they have developed the Chef’s Table.
The Chef’s Table is a fantastic opportunity for three young people to experience the running of a restaurant. If you are a care leaver interested in a career in hospitality, then this opportunity to be part of the Chef’s Table team may be for you.
You will support two key areas of work during the event.
- Assist in kitchen prep and set up of service 2-4 Hours per day.
- Assist in serving wine, tea & coffee during service 3-4 hours per day.
You will receive quality training in hospitality catering and learn about menus, food prep, and order taking/payments. This role will help to equip you for future opportunities by teaching you about the workings of festivals and the various job roles.
The Latitude Festival takes place at Henham Park, which is in Surrey; however, applicants are welcome to apply from anywhere in the country as you will be provided transport support.
As well as working as part of the Chef’s Table, in your free time, you will have the opportunity to attend the festival, as you will receive free access. This will allow you to experience and enjoy the Latitude Festival as a festival goer.
