The company currently have sites throughout the country and are looking to support care experienced young people start a career in the construction industry by providing the following opportunities.
- Employability Sessions
Designed to help young people build their confidence and skills in readiness to apply for apprenticeship and employment opportunities. The sessions will include;
- CV Building
- Personal Branding/what’s my strength
- Interview techniques
- Careers advice in the construction sector
- A visit to a live construction site
An opportunity for young people to experience a live construction project
- meet key people involved in the build including managers and trades
- Placements and Work Experience
Opportunities are available in all disciplines with office-based roles being offered directly by Willmott Dixon and the trade roles via the supply chain partners.
Wilmot Dixon are flexible as to the duration of these opportunities which can run from half a day up to a week block week session.
