What options are there for me?

We have many different options within the Care Leaver Covenant! From job opportunities to special experiences.

There are university and college based Opportunities and Career Opportunities which can be filtered down into types, such as Paid and Mentoring. Fine-tuning further in to the sectors you are interested in, for example Construction, Digital & Tech. You can also select opportunities in your area.

How do I sign up to access opportunities?

Please sign up to our care leaver community, Connects here. Connects will keep you informed about all the new and upcoming opportunities here at The Covenant.

Do I need a personal advisor to access opportunities and jobs?

No, you can contact us directly. If you need support, get in touch and we will be happy to help. If you do have a PA and they’d like to speak to us, that’s fine too.

I’m over 25 can you still support me?

The Covenant is funded to support 16-25 year-olds in England. However, if you need support and are not in contact with your local authority, get in touch and we will assess how we can support you.

Will I be supported at University?

Yes! We currently have over 70 universities committed to supporting care leavers with their journey through university. This could be through special grants, accommodation or a specific support contact. You can find out more here.
