Our offer is to support care leavers who are interested in employment the Facilities Management sector to find out more about how the sector operates by offering paid work experience in one of our premier locations the British Library in London and Boston Spa.
The work experience available for 3 months will be in a cleaning role, following induction recruits will be working alongside an experienced team member where full training will be given and uniform and PPE will be provided. At the end of this time there will be the opportunity to apply for permanent employment in a range of roles and sites within the business.
In London the role will be part time for 15 hours per week working 6am – 9am and will be paid at £13.15 per hour
In Boston Spa the hours are full time between 8-4pm and will be paid at £12 with transport offered from local areas of Castleford, Featherstone and Tadcaster
As part of our offer we will provide you with initial advice and guidance of the role and the business, assist you through the recruitment process, and when undertaking work experience mentor, guide, and give unwavering support throughout your journey with us.
