Full Details
The Sewell Group has a shared purpose to enrich people’s lives and make the world a better place. We are made up of two distinct parts – our Estates and our Retail arm. Both very different, but both driven by the same desire to leave a legacy in the communities where we work.
Work Experience
We are committed to offering structured, personalised, and meaningful work experience opportunities to care leavers wherever possible. These opportunities will be available across all areas of our business, including construction, facilities management, and consultancy, ensuring a broad and inclusive range of experiences.
Pathways to Employment
We will support care leavers in developing essential employability skills through a range of tailored initiatives. This may include coaching and mentoring, CV writing support, skills workshops, and mock interviews, all designed to build confidence and prepare them for the world of work.
Employment and Apprenticeship opportunities
Suitable opportunities will be available at Careers – Sewell Group and will be advertised on the Care Leaver Covenant job board. Care leavers who meet the eligibility criteria will be guaranteed an interview, ensuring fair access to employment opportunities.
Taking Up This Offer
We encourage care leavers to apply for employment and work experience opportunities through the careers page on our website.(https://apply.workable.com/sewell-group/)
If support is required to make an application, or if care leavers have any questions about the opportunities available, we ask that they contact the People Team, who will be happy to assist. (people@sewell-group.co.uk, 01482 701251)
