Komatsu UK designs, manufactures and sells medium-sized hydraulic excavators mainly for European Market.  The Company was established in 1985 and is part of a multi-national Company with the head office based in Tokyo, Japan.  It employs over 500 people at the Birley site and over 63,000 people worldwide.

The Company is committed to helping care leavers find out more about the Company and the employment opportunities available and will offer Company visits, work experience placements of up to four weeks duration, mentoring and support with job applications.
