Ignis Lodge: From Crisis to Independence

Every day, young people leaving care face uncertainty. At Ignis Lodge we bridge that gap by offering stable housing, wrap-around care, and pathways to happy, healthy, independent lives.

What We Offer Care Leavers

Lodge Journeys: Our Pathway to Independence

At Ignis Lodge, every young person – whether residential or not – follows a “Lodge Journey”, a step-by-step pathway that evolves with their confidence and needs. Partipants are supported to:

  • Set goals and track progress across life skills, learning and wellbeing
  • Build independence at a sustainable pace
  • Develop formal training, education and employability skills
  • Gain practical guidance in budgeting, cooking, cleaning and tenancy responsibilities
  • Access emotional and wellbeing support from a trauma-aware team
  • Pursue further education, training or employment
  • Navigate health services and personal development
  • Celebrate every milestone, large or small
  • Transition gradually, with support that eases as confidence grows

The Lodge Journey approach helps young people feel safe, supported, and in control of their future, with a focus on real, sustainable independence.

Where a young person is residential, we provide fully furnished en-suite rooms in a welcoming lodge setting with 24/7 on-call support from a caring, experienced team in an environment built on respect, trust and growth.

On completion of any programme at Ignis Lodge, you will be awarded Fellow membership of Ignis Lodge. This is a lifelong connection offering a 25% discount at Ignis Lodge, access to regular alumni events, and a commemorative pin celebrating the achievement..
