Insight Sessions: Get to Know Construction and EFT
Before applying, join one of our free 90-minute Insight into Construction sessions held on-site in Halifax and Newcastle. These sessions are designed to:
- Introduce you to the many jobs available in construction, far beyond what you might expect
- Show you who EFT is and the kind of work we do
- Let you meet current apprentices, including those with care experience, who will share their stories
- Help you feel confident about applying and understand the support available
- Include fun ice-breakers and an interactive Q&A
- Give away some goodies to take home!
It’s a great way to meet the team, learn about the industry and get ready to take the next step.
Apprenticeships at EFT
Our apprenticeships start in September and will include the role Apprentice Fire and Security Engineer
Other opportunities will be shared as they become available and go live.
Since its inception, more than 150 apprentices have passed through the EFT Academy, learning vital skills in fire and life safety systems and more.
Award-Winning Apprentices We Are Proud Of
Many of our apprentices have gained national recognition, including Apprentice of the Year awards and World Skills UK winners, showing the immense talent and potential within our programmes.
EFT Academy
We deliver much of our training through our own purpose-built EFT Academy, a dedicated facility where apprentices get hands-on practical and product training, including accredited courses.
The academy is also where apprentices prepare for practical exams and where more experienced team members enhance their technical skills.
