Join Our Team – Work Placements

We’re offering:

  • 6‑week paid work placements for care leavers interested in civil engineering or project management
  • Work experience placements for those looking to complete coursework or training hours
  • Permanent employment opportunities as vacancies become available
  • Pay: To be confirmed, depending on role and placement type
  • A structured, inclusive environment where we help you gain skills, experience, and confidence

What You’ll Do

Your responsibilities could include:

  • Assisting on live site projects, covering groundwork, drainage or surfacing
  • Shadowing engineers and project managers to understand planning and operations
  • Learning about site health & safety, materials, and contractor coordination
  • Developing practical skills essential for site-based roles

The Skills We’re Looking For

Experience is not required, just a readiness to learn. We’re looking for people who are:

  • Reliable and motivated
  • Interested in engineering, construction, or site operations
  • Eager to work as part of a team and show initiative
  • Committed to developing practical skills in a professional setting
