At The Brilliant Club, we understand that care-experienced young people face unique challenges when considering and preparing for university. That’s why we’re offering free access to our UniPrep webinars, which run year-round, offering guidance on issues such as writing personal statements, student finance, study skills support and information about life at university. They also offer the chance to hear from current university students, and other experts, charities and organisations who will signpost support.

At The Brilliant Club, we understand that care-experienced young people face unique challenges when making the move to university. That’s why we’re excited to offer places on our Join the Dots programme to care leavers who will be attending our partner universities. Join the Dots is designed specifically to support students through the transition to university, helping you to develop the key study skills needed to thrive, as well as connecting to you to a network of fellow students, through a combination of peer group and one-to-one coaching sessions.

Programme Highlights
Participants in the Join the Dots programme will:

  • Receive one-to-one personalised coaching from a PhD coach who really understands university life, supporting you to set goals and develop confidence across your early weeks at university
  • Develop critical academic skills like essay writing, research techniques, and time management
  • Build a supportive peer network with fellow students

Tailored Support & Accessibility

  • One-to-one coaching to ensure sessions meet your needs
  • Flexible, online delivery options
  • Resources and materials designed to be accessible and engaging
