The Tigers Sport and Education Trust is a charity which aims to make a difference to people’s lives by involving them in sport.
Through our work, the Tigers Trust promote the values linked with sporting success and we help up-skill participants through practical activity as well as running courses, events and promoting our work in schools across the Hull and East Yorkshire region. Involvement in community sport projects can help tackle a wide range of issues including health, youth crime and unemployment.
With a workforce of around 40 full and part time members of staff, a large cohort of volunteers and participants and a high-profile association with professional football, the Tigers Trust is dedicated to helping our local communities to live active, healthy and happy lives.

Each month the Tigers Trust works in partnership with Hull City Council Leaving Care Team and provides a football session for one hour and thirty minutes for those who are care leavers or care experienced, these sessions are free for care leavers to attend. Every October as part of Care Leavers week we also run an event at Tigers Trust Arena with Hull City players in attendance this involves the care leavers playing a football match against their personal advisors.
The Tigers Trust also offers an employability programme and works closely with personal advisors and care leavers, these do not have to attend the football sessions, who and are not in Education, Employment, or Training. The main aim is to support them into education and employment by increasing their skills, confidence and supporting them with things such as CV writing and interview preparation, but most importantly adapting their support to the journey that the individual is on.
