– Offer an interview to care leaver candidates that meet the apprenticeship criteria.
– Ensure that each care experienced apprentice who is employed is allocated an experienced mentor for ongoing support and guidance and help settling in.
– Offer training relevant to the role and link the apprentice with the Mental Health First Aider at that branch for additional support.
– We will also make available 2 work experience placements to suitable candidates at our Quartz Point and Smethwick sites.
