Avant Skills Academy work with a range of employers to deliver Apprenticeships and Traineeships that would be suitable for care leavers across the Grimsby and Hull.
These apprenticeships are in Business Administration, Customer Service, Data and Hairdressing. For care leavers aged 16-18 who are not ready for an apprenticeship we offer a traineeship programme to help you enter into the world of work, developing work preparation skills and undertaking work experience placements.
Full advice and guidance on the apprenticeships that are available and the benefits of becoming an apprentice including salaries and eligibility for bursaries to cover travel and meals will be given.Details of the traineeship programme the learning and work experience involved will also be provided for young people taking their first steps into work.
Ongoing support will be provided by a team of experienced staff throughout.
