Cardboard Citizens is a theatre and music company.  We create work for and with people who experience homelessness, poverty or inequity. We aim to increase access to the arts to make the industry more inclusive and reflective of wider society.

We are a proud signatory of the Care Leaver Covenant.  Our offer for care leavers provides a range of opportunities from:

  • Free music and live events courses with performance opportunities for 16-25 year olds. (Travel costs covered)
  • Free Theatre Making and Writing courses for those aged 18+. (Travel costs covered)
  • One off creative workshops led by specialists in the arts.
  • 1:1 artistic guidance and career advice sessions
  • Volunteering and paid ambassador opportunities
  • Free tickets for cultural events (whilst accessing programmes)
