2040 Leaders is on a mission to empower under-served young people with the skills, knowledge, and relationships they need to succeed in work.
Most initiatives stop at helping people secure a role. But, the real challenge starts on day one: navigating the ‘unwritten rules’ of workplace culture, managing relationships and maintaining personal wellbeing. We close that gap for young people by helping companies and managers to create environments where everyone can thrive.
To support this mission we will offer care leavers:
Career Arcade workshops – which are high-energy sessions (online and in-person) that turn traditional training into practical games, real-talk discussions and peer support. Participants leave with actionable skills, insider knowledge and a supportive network.
Community opportunities which can include:
- Paid insight projects – which helps us to co-design new content and contribute to research.
- Advocacy and speaker roles – sharing experiences at partner events and influencing policy while earning a fee.
