Nexus MAT trust is a group of 11 schools based across South Yorkshire. We are committed to supporting care experienced young people to access our range of opportunities and apply for a role on our apprenticeship programme.

Our apprenticeship opportunities may be for a business focused role in our head office or an opportunity to join one of our schools as an Apprentice Teaching Assistant, with the training and experience provided to start you off on your career within Education.

As an Apprentice Teaching Assistant you will be supervising activities in the classroom and supporting pupils who need learning support, under the leadership of a qualified teacher. Additionally, you may be required to support pupils outside the classroom in one to one or focus group sessions, or supervise lunch or break duty.
