Work Experience at the National Exhibition Centre (NEC) – Birmingham

Summary: The NEC Group offers a two-week work experience for care leavers, with career insights, employability support, free lunches, and high street vouchers.

Further Details:

NEC Group is the UK’s leading live events business operating in exhibitions, conferences, music, sports, family entertainment and hospitality.

 

To support care leavers the NEC has developed a two week work experience programme that will help participants understand what its like to work for the NEC and the events sector, the job roles that are available and how to progress into job opportunities that are available.

 

The programme will also help participants develop their employability skills and to produce good quality CV’s and job applications

 

During time on site care leavers will be provided with any protective clothing that may be needed, given lunch and on completion of the programme recognised and rewarded with high street vouchers.
