PGL is the UK’s leading outdoor education provider, delivering inspirational learning through adventure. PGL has a small team of core staff and each season, February to November, recruits over 2,000 staff to look after our guests.

Activity Instructor Group Leaders
If working in the outdoors with children is the adventure you’ve been dreaming of, this job is for you. You’ll be leading activities, organising entertainment, and making sure your group of children has the time of their lives. Full training provided.
Catering Assistants
Our Catering Team serves meals that fuel our guests and staff for their day of activities. This job includes assisting with preparation of the dining room, serving from our canteen bays and ensuring the kitchen and dining areas are kept clean.
Housekeeping Assistants
Our Housekeeping team is a great place to get you started in hospitality. While guests are out on adventures, our Housekeeping Assistants deliver a first-class service to keep the high standards of presentation and appearance around the centre. You’ll prepare guest rooms for new arrivals and ensuring that laundry is clean.
Retail Assistants
All PGL centres have a gift and tuck shop where guests can buy PGL related goodies as well as refreshments, souvenirs and confectionery. Many centres also have onsite bars which are open in the evening – so you’ll work evening shifts in the bar too.
