Mentoring Programme and Support Groups
We are proud to offer a comprehensive support system for care leavers through our care-experienced young people mentoring programme.
We are also establishing a Children in Care Working Group. Children in Care Working Group will engage in grassroots actions and coproduction training and activities within the Youth Zone and the wider community. This group will connect care leavers with local opportunities and foster partnerships that enhance their personal and professional development.
Through this group we will also support the Care Leaver Covenant by encouraging young people and their support networks to register to the Care Leaver Covenant’s Connects programme, which provides tailored mentoring and guidance to help care leavers transition smoothly into adulthood.
