Our apprenticeships combine practical workplace experience with nationally recognised qualifications, enabling you to earn while you learn alongside experienced colleagues.

Eligible care leavers may also qualify for the Government’s £3,000 Apprenticeship Care Leavers’ Bursary, subject to eligibility requirements.

We encourage care-experienced young people, Personal Advisers and Leaving Care Teams to contact us to discuss current opportunities and career pathways.

How We’ll Support You

We understand that starting a new role is a significant step, and the right support can make all the difference.

We will work with applicants and where appropriate, their Personal Adviser or Leaving Care Team to help make the transition into employment as smooth as possible.

Applicants will have the opportunity to identify themselves as care-experienced during the enquiry or application process, enabling us to provide appropriate support where required.

• A named point of contact for enquiries relating to care leaver opportunities.
• Apprenticeship and early careers opportunities when available.
• Work experience placements, careers events and site visits where opportunities are available.
• A guaranteed interview for care-experienced applicants who meet the minimum criteria for the role.

• Additional recruitment support such as application guidance or interview preparation.
• An inclusive working environment where everyone is treated fairly and with respect.
• Engagement with Personal Advisers and Leaving Care Teams where appropriate and with your consent.

Who Is This For?

This offer is aimed at care-experienced young people and care leavers who are interested in exploring careers within the construction industry.

No previous construction experience is required for many of our opportunities. We value enthusiasm, curiosity, commitment and a willingness to learn.

Individual vacancies may have specific eligibility requirements. Some apprenticeship programmes may require minimum qualifications, such as English and Maths, depending on the apprenticeship standard and role. This will be clearly stated within vacancy information.
