Further Details:

Witherslack Group are a leading education provider for children and young people with special educational needs. With over 35 schools and 38 children’s homes across the country, we support a number of care-experienced young people who are transitioning from care to leaving care. We will be working with the Care Leaver Covenant to equip these young people with the best possible start to their journey of interdependence through the following objectives:

  1. Raising Aspiration.
  2. Preparation for employment.
  3. Preparation for leaving care: Enhancing readiness and easing anxiety.
  4. Making successful steps: Ongoing signposting, support and community interaction.
  5. Ongoing expert-led employment support
