Arcus – Building Fabric Traineeships
Locations: Manchester, Kent and Ipswich
Salary: £27,841 per year
Programme Length: 6 months
Arcus is offering care leavers the opportunity to apply for one of five paid Building Fabric Traineeships.
This is a practical opportunity for anyone interested in building maintenance, repairs and facilities management. You will receive hands-on training in areas such as basic carpentry, plumbing and general repairs while working alongside experienced colleagues.
During the programme, you will learn how to:
- Carry out planned and reactive maintenance tasks
- Understand health and safety processes
- Use site documentation and workplace systems
- Build practical maintenance and repair skills
- Develop confidence in a professional working environment
You will also build a portfolio of your learning and develop the skills needed to progress into a fully qualified building fabric role.
