We want more care leavers to have access to exciting careers in technology.

Through partnerships with local authorities, education providers, support organisations and community networks, DXC aims to create clearer routes into apprenticeship opportunities for talented individuals who may not have previously considered a career in technology.

Salary and Benefits

DXC apprentices earn a competitive salary while gaining qualifications and workplace experience.

Current academic programme salaries:

Graduate Programme
£30,500 per year

Degree Apprenticeships
£25,000 per year

Modern Apprenticeships
£22,000 per year

How to Apply

Step 1 – Application

Step 2 – Pre Screening – / Telephone or Teams chat with our dedicated Care Leaver lead

Our recruitment team will review applications and confirm eligibility requirements.

Applicants should be aware that some roles require:

  • Ability to travel to the assigned DXC office location (up to five days per week)
  • British citizenship due to UK Security Vetting requirements

Unfortunately, DXC is unable to consider applicants who require visa sponsorship or hold dual nationality.

Step 3 – Assessment

Successful applicants may be invited to complete online assessments and take part in an assessment process designed to understand their skills, approach and potential.

Step 4 – Join DXC

Successful candidates will receive an offer and begin their DXC journey, supported through onboarding, learning and development opportunities.
