Full Details
Learning Curve Group is a training and education provider that supports people to develop skills, gain qualifications and progress into employment through courses and apprenticeships. Learning Curve Group has a wide range of opportunities including study programmes in Hair and Beauty, Military and Construction. Additionally, apprenticeships are available in areas such as Housing, Care and Logistics.
As a care-experienced young person, you will be able to access tailored support to help you explore education and training opportunities.
You will have access to information, advice and guidance when considering courses, apprenticeships or training programmes. Extra support may also be available to help you access opportunities.
Additional learning and pastoral support will be available, including signposting to financial support, wellbeing services and mental health support where needed to help you stay engaged and succeed.
If you apply for an apprenticeship and meet the essential criteria, you will be guaranteed a discussion with us at Learning Curve Group. Opportunities for work experience and supported employment pathways may also be available to help you gain experience and progress into employment.
You will have access to a named point of contact within the organisation who can support you with applications and training. You may also receive tailored support based on your individual needs.
Learning Curve Group recognises that everyone’s circumstances are different and will take a flexible and supportive approach where needed.
The organisation also has a dedicated Care Experience Manager who works specifically with care-experienced learners and applicants. This role helps make sure individuals receive consistent and personalised support throughout their time with Learning Curve Group.
Learning Curve Group is committed to ensuring care-experienced individuals are supported through its ‘PURPLE’ approach:
- Protection: you will be safeguarded from abuse and discrimination
- Understanding: you will be heard, understood and supported to make sense of your experiences
- Relationships: you will be supported to build ongoing, stable relationships with trusted adults
- Participation: your voice will be heard, and you will be involved in decisions about your life
- Listening: trusted adults will notice when things are wrong and respond appropriately
- Explanation: you will receive clear information about outcomes, decisions and the reasons behind them
Learning Curve Group also works with local authorities, Virtual Schools and support services to help make sure you receive the right support.
