Summary: Employability opportunities are provided under ELBA's Employment Works programme.

Further Details:

East London Business Alliance (ELBA) is a registered charity and offers employability opportunities under its Employment Works programme & through its social enterprise subsidiary arm London Works – a recruitment agency.  Both programmes are set up to help local people to access employability opportunities,  find  training opportunities and secure good employment.

London Works is a scheme is primarily focused on A Level Leavers and Graduates.

ELBA will also work with its corporate partners in promoting and supporting the Covenant.

NOTE: There is no guarantee that ELBA or London Works can support you into employability initiatives but if we cannot support you we will try to signpost you on to other providers.

Employment Works – Residents in the boroughs of Tower Hamlets, Newham, Hackney can apply to potentially receive employability support and job vacancies by sending a CV & covering letter to:

Note: There are focused funded projects to support young Black men (16 – 30 years).

To be eligible, candidates must have the following;

  • Letter from Leaving Care team confirming status or Proof of ID & eligibility to work in the UK (a Passport, Full Birth Certificate/Visa)
  • A utility bill registered at your home address
  • A National Insurance number
  • References-Preferably Work/College/University/
  • Original qualification certificates.
