Full Details

Brightpath Community Housing Ltd CIC is a Community Interest Company which was launched in February 2026. The founders of the company joined forces, combining their knowledge of housing, property, poverty and support. They quickly found that good quality accommodation and services for homeless people was very limited in their area and, after extensive research, found this to be true in many areas of the UK.

We provide safe, secure and affordable homes with tailored support services, giving each resident the chance to develop greater independence and autonomy. We believe everyone has the right to have a decent place to live and will support you through your journey to independence by helping you gain the skills to live independently and manage your home.

At Brightpath Community Housing Ltd CIC we pride ourselves on providing good quality housing and personalised support, helping residents work towards independence and successful tenancies.

What do we do? How can we support you?

You will be assigned a Housing Support Worker who will arrange suitable times to have one to one sessions to engage with you and understand your individual needs.

As you are in shared housing, we will also hold house meetings at least once per month to maintain positive housemate relationships. Your Housing Support Worker will complete an Accommodation and Support Plan with you, highlighting your individual needs, and this will be reviewed and updated quarterly.

Your support plan will look at where you are now, where you have been and where you would like to go, moving forward. We will look at ways in which best to support you to achieve your goals and aspirations.

What type of support do we provide?

We can support you with some of the following:

  • Benefit claims, form filling and updating
  • Referrals to suitable services and agencies
  • Budgeting and lifestyle
  • Advice on housekeeping and cleaning
  • Assistance to and from important appointments or meetings
  • Advocacy or moral support
  • Advice on maintaining tenancy
  • Empowerment and encouragement to self-reliance and independence
  • Signpost you to services that you can engage with, including opportunities available through the Care Leaver Covenant.

This list is not exhaustive but instead provides a guide to the type of support on offer. As Brightpath Community Housing Ltd CIC operates on a case by case basis, there may be other support needs that we may be able to accommodate or signpost you to services that can support you, such as accessing health and wellbeing services, taking up education opportunities or employability support.

Employment Opportunities

As part of our commitment to the Care Leaver Covenant, we will consider applications from care leavers for suitable vacancies within our organisation. Where a care leaver meets the essential criteria for a role, we will offer a guaranteed interview.

We recognise the value that care-experienced people can bring to our workforce through their resilience, skills and lived experience. Successful applicants will receive the same induction, training and support as all employees, with additional support where appropriate to help them settle into their role and develop their career.

We will also advertise suitable vacancies via the Care Leaver Covenant.
