For care leavers we can offer work experience, work placements and apprenticeships mainly based in Blackpool.
Work experience and placement will be agreed individually for a maximum of two weeks which can be in a block or spread over a period of time and this can include office based roles . Work placements can be between 4 – 8 weeks with the possibility of being taken on as an apprentice.
Due to strict health & safety requirements on site the minimum age will be 16+ for apprentices and some work placements but the company can accommodate work experience for a shorter amount of time for anyone just under the age of 16 agreed on a case by case basis.
Evolution will provide PPE, which currently includes high-vis, Gloves, Goggles and provide a branded T-shirt and Jumper. If employed as an apprentice, Evolution give all employees a yearly allowance for pants and boots.
For travel we can offer a van share with colleagues and a pickup area convenient for both can be agreed. For care leavers who can drive assistance with fuel costs can be discussed.
