Are you a care-experienced young person aged 18-25 looking to build confidence, develop new skills and explore new opportunities?

Who Cares Consultancy exists to ensure the voices and experiences of care-experienced young people are heard, valued and used to shape positive change.

Real Lives, Real Tools builds on that commitment. This youth-led programme supports care-experienced and marginalised young adults to develop practical life skills, build confidence and take their next steps towards employment, education or training.

As you progress, you’ll have opportunities to develop your leadership and facilitation skills, with the potential to become a paid facilitator delivering workshops and training alongside Who Cares Consultancy.

The programme provides a supportive and inclusive environment where participants are encouraged to recognise their strengths, build meaningful connections and explore new possibilities for their future.

What You’ll Gain

  • IML Recognised Facilitator/Trainer certification upon completion

We’re working with employers, charities and community organisations to create even more opportunities for participants.

Depending on your interests, you may also be able to access:

Most organisations offer opportunities to care-experienced young people. At Who Cares Consultancy, we want to create opportunities with care-experienced young people, recognising the skills, insight and potential they already bring.

Who can access this offer:

Real Lives, Real Tools is open to care-experienced and marginalised young adults aged 18-25.

You don’t need previous qualifications or professional experience.

We’re looking for people who are willing to learn, open to new experiences and ready to develop their confidence, skills and aspirations in a supportive environment.

The programme is launching in October 2026, we will run weekly evening sessions in Brixton (South London)
