Do you have a business idea or already run a small business that could go further with the right support?
Reed has launched the ‘All About Business Entrepreneurs Fund’ to support the next generation of young entrepreneurs — and this could be an opportunity for you. To celebrate 66 years of Reed, they are giving £20,000 to 66 young entrepreneurs aged 18–26.
Reed’s Founder, Sir Alec Reed, was just 26 when he started the business in 1960 with only £75. More than 60 years later, Reed is now the largest family-run recruitment company in the world. His story, and many others shared each week on James Reed’s All About Business podcast, show what can happen when ambition meets opportunity.
That’s why they’re giving back.
What the Entrepreneurs Fund offers
In the first year of the fund, at least three young entrepreneurs will receive:
• £20,000 funding to invest directly into their business
• Expert mentorship from experienced business leaders
• A national platform to showcase their idea and ambition
• Confidence and momentum to help scale and grow their business
As James Reed says:
“Nearly one million 18–24-year-olds are out of employment or training. We need to encourage young people to set up shop and start their entrepreneurial journey now.”
