Foundation Degree In community football coaching and development

Summary: Nottingham Forest Community Trust are a signatory of the Care Leaver Covenant and we welcome applicants who are care experienced.

Further Details:

Acquire the knowledge to successfully kick start your career within the football industry through our undergraduate degree courses. Unlike most university courses, you’ll have the opportunity to learn, develop and coach in a professional and exciting environment

Delivered in partnership with the University of South Wales, our two-year foundation degree allows you to gain valuable coaching experience and industry-recognised qualifications. You’ll be able to develop your football and coaching expertise in communities across Nottinghamshire whilst attending lectures and seminars at The City Ground which aim to develop your understanding around engagement of children and young people in sport, social inclusion theory and sports management.

At the end of the two year programme, alongside your FA Level 2 Coaching award, you’ll have the opportunity to convert your Foundation Degree into a BSc (Hons) degree if you wish – perfect if you want to push yourself to the next level.
