We are a Christian charity providing a lifeline for vulnerable young people across Guildford Borough. Established for nearly 25 years, we are dedicated to working with young people, helping them to improve their lives, and for young people, catalysing change by nurturing, inspiring, connecting and empowering them.

As part of commitment to the Covenant, we’re offering care leavers a range of work experience / volunteering opportunities across different areas of our business including:

  • Office – assisting our finance department, and our marketing & social media presence.
  • Youth work projects and drop-ins
  • Community interest Café

The Hideaway Café also runs a 12-week hospitality traineeship which provides work experience in a lively environment alongside weekly mentor meetings, employability support and a level 2 food hygiene certificate.
