About Changes Health & Wellbeing
Changes Health & Wellbeing provides mental health services to children, young people and adults. Based on our peer-support groups, 1-2-1 coaching, training programmes, volunteering opportunities, and even access to paid employment.
Our Stay Well service supports children and young people, and our Changes service can be accessed by adults wishing to improve their mental health.
Both services are designed to help you take steps forward at your own pace and support you to reach your goals.
Stay Well

How We Can Support children and young people
Young people can refer themselves to Stay Well or with support from their parent, caregiver, GP, healthcare professional, social worker or personal advisor.
Aimed at children and young people aged between 5 and 18 years (up to 25 years for those who are SEND), services are provided in age-appropriate formats.
Here’s what we offer:
Peer Support Groups
- Meet others who understand mental health challenges
- Share tips and coping strategies
- Build friendships and confidence
- Available across Staffordshire and online
Wellbeing & Recovery Workshops
- Learn practical skills to manage stress, anxiety, or low mood
- Wellbeing and recovery sessions
- Workshops to help you feel stronger, more confident, and ready for work or study
Stay Well is delivered alongside other local children and young people services (including CAMHS and social services) and can connect to extra support if needed
Volunteering Opportunities
Stay Well provides opportunities for volunteer placements i.e. working alongside Stay Well staff (to gain experience in delivering children and young people mental health services), and through joining our youth participation groups (helping to shape the design and delivery of local CAMHS services).
Volunteering lets you:
- Get real work experience in a supportive environment
- Build confidence and routine
- Develop skills that can help in future jobs
Employment Opportunities
