If you are a young person would like to pursue a career in Public Relations, then our offer of support may interest you.

Members of the Social team will offer supportive advice and guidance to care leavers who are interested in applying for work in the public relations and communications industry.

Advice and guidance could include tips on bolstering job applications, explaining what different types of agency do, or specific themes like ‘what is a PR campaign?’

Advice and guidance sessions will be one hour and are available for up to 12 young people per 6 months. A candidate will not be able to receive more than one A&G session in a 12-month period.

Young people will need to email the Care Leaver Covenant at info@mycovenant.org.uk with the subject line Hello SOCIAL.

In the email body please let us know your name, contact details, what you are up to in life at the moment and why you would like to get advice and guidance from the Social team.

Someone from the Covenant team will then follow up with you and introduce you to the appropriate team member at Social.
