Ridge is a multi disciplinary property and construction consultancy that works in the public and private sector undertaking new development, regeneration and refurbishment: projects.
Ridge commits to providing 12 work placements per year, one in each of Ridge’s offices see link to full list of office locations
Each of the placements will last a minimum of 2 weeks. We can offer up to a year placement this would be relevant for those in university with year in industry requirements and this will be discussed and confirmed on a case-by-case basis. In addition payment for placements will also be subject to discussion with the department supporting the placement.
Care leavers undertaking work placements will also receive 6 hours of mentoring online from DBS-checked mentors.
Where care leavers are interested in a career opportunity at Ridge we will also guarantee interviews for care leavers seeking graduate or early careers roles where applicants meet the minimum criteria for the role and confirm they are care leavers during the application process.
Ridge will also donate a minimum of 6000 GBP per year to help Looked After Teams or charities and community groups across the UK.
