SJ Cleaning Midlands Ltd is a family-run, values-driven commercial cleaning business. We provide window cleaning, general cleaning and grounds maintenance services to commercial clients across the West Midlands and neighbouring counties, including Cheshire, Derbyshire, Shropshire and Nottinghamshire. Most roles require an early start, from our business unit in Wednesbury. As part of our approach to sustainability, we would encourage you to walk, cycle or car share to work.
You will always work within a team, supported by experienced colleagues, and receive comprehensive training before taking on responsibilities independently.

Before you start
After a successful interview, we will guide you through the onboarding process clearly and patiently. If you need help understanding paperwork or procedures, we will provide one-to-one support.
Your first weeks
Your induction includes:
- A full introduction to the SJ Cleaning Team
- Training in health and safety, customer service, safeguarding, equality, diversity and a host of other skills required to be successful in the role
- Shadowing experienced colleagues to build practical skills
- Clear explanations of your role and responsibilities
Ongoing support
Once you start, you will benefit from:
- A named line manager for regular one-to-one supervision
- Informal team check-ins and peer support
- Clear processes to request additional support if needed We promote a culture where asking for help is encouraged, and staff wellbeing is a priority.

Training and progression

DBS checks
An enhanced DBS check will be required.
