TrAC- a not-for-profit Apprenticeship agency that provides fully supported Construction and the Built Environment Apprenticeships. TrAC employs the apprentice for the full duration of their learning whilst they spend time in Host Companies to gain the on-the-job experience required. TrAC arranges all training and matching/recruitment of apprentices to the Host Companies. This provides a flexible approach to apprenticeships and allows there to be several Host Company placements if necessary. Each apprentice has a dedicated Apprenticeship Development Manager who supports them throughout, from application to completion.

Through the project we provide an Apprenticeship Mentoring service through a team of mentors, who are apprentices themselves. These mentors provide ongoing support to help young people aged 15-24 become “Apprenticeship ready”. This includes support with: CVs, applications, confidence building and interviews.
Any care leaver aged 15-24 can access the Apprenticeship mentoring, regardless of whether they are currently in education or not. Once they have registered (or been referred by someone that works with them) on our website https://ams.apprenticeshipsnewanglia.co.uk/_login/register/, they will be allocated a dedicated Apprenticeship Mentor who will initially contact them via telephone, email or text to arrange a first session. This can be done in-person where suitable (public places such as libraries/cafes are often used) or virtually. The Apprenticeship Mentor will work with them to help them become apprenticeship ready, focusing on areas that the young person feels they need support in. These sessions can take place every 2 weeks if needed, dependent on the level of support required.
Our Business Development team will also actively seek Apprenticeship placements for those that are apprenticeship ready, using our delivery project partner TrAC to provide the employment solution.
Apprenticeships New Anglia only operates in Norfolk and Suffolk currently.
