Employment
- Share appropriate employment opportunities with the Care Leavers Covenant team as they become available.
- Guaranteed interview with feedback for all care experienced applicants who meet the minimum criteria for the advertised role
- Ensure that all applications are tracked
- Provide each new entrant with an assigned a mentor to provide informal support and on-boarding
- Provide job specific training programme
- Pay the National Living Wage as a minimum
Work Placements and Work Experience
- Offer Summer placements – open to undergraduate students
- Provide Graduate placements – Year in Industry
- Work experience placements for students aged 16+
- Ensure PPE is provided for all placement students
CV Workshops
- These workshops will offer individuals the support to help build a CV and cover letter to match their skill set and aspirations
Mock Interview Sessions
Dependant on role, these may be competency based.
