We recruit passionate and confident people to become Health Mentors working in schools in the West Midlands, London and South Wales regions. Our Health Mentors work with children and young people in their educational settings, helping to build their social skills, confidence and general wellbeing.
As a role model, our Health Mentors have some experience of working with children and young people in different educational settings and ideally have a sports or activity interest outside of education. Along with this, they will ideally have some experience of working with harder-to-reach groups and children with challenges in their day-to-day lives.
Evolve offers a full induction and training package to all our team members, including sponsorship of a university-level mentoring qualification in your first year. In addition to this, ongoing training and development opportunities are available with paid time given to complete these, and once qualified, you will be eligible to register for our Leadership Development Programme.
Evolve has been operating nationally for over 20 years and has played a major role in the development of tens of thousands of children in education.
So, if you:
- Enjoy a healthy, physical and active lifestyle
- Have patience, empathy and resilience to be a role model
- Want to work for a company that values ongoing training for its staff, enabling them to get a university-level qualification
- Want to be on a salary, working Monday to Friday with 29 days holiday plus 8 Bank Holidays per year
We want to hear from you!
