Health Mentor Apprenticeship – (Opportunities available in the following locations; Birmingham, Dudley, Doncaster, Lincoln, Nottingham, Oxford/Witney).
You will be trained to become a mentor to young people in schools, working to improve their behaviour, confidence and emotional wellbeing so they can achieve their full potential.
Full training, both on and off the job will be provided to meet the Apprenticeship Standard and all elements of this role.
Evolve are looking to employ people who have the personality and individual attributes for this work such as a passion for working with young people, patience and adaptability in dealing with challenging behaviour and the ability to respond effectively to different situations.
Individuals who apply should be keen to become role models to young people and have a desire themselves to constantly learn and improve.
Evolve will fast track Care Leaver applicants to the ‘Recruitment Workshop’ stage of the interview process so that even unsuccessful applicants will have the benefit of a face to face recruitment workshop and valuable feedback on their application.
Salary – £15k to £16k depending upon age, experience and prior qualifications
Holiday – 37 days annual leave (this includes 8 public bank holidays)
