Success Stories

Example – Interclass apprentices have gained valuable career-building experience while training on real projects. Here are some comments from our current apprentices:

“No two days are ever the same and every project I work on has its own new challenges, I am constantly learning an developing my skills to improve my knowledge of the industry, while meeting some wonderful people on the way.” – Rico Jones, Apprentice Quantity Surveyor

“College has helped me show to my employer that I am dedicated and committed to my work through my learning. My college gives me the knowledge I need to apply to my work and helps me to continuously improve.” Maisie Smith, Admin Apprentice

“You’re always meeting new people! It’s been a pleasure so far to have met so many different characters who share their experiences and knowledge to help me through my studies and daily tasks. Now, I am able to share my experience and knowledge with generations to come.” Laura Smith, Quantity Surveyor (former apprentice)

“Everything I learn at college I can relate to my day-to-day work and having the chance to work on the extension project is a great opportunity – when the work is completed I’ll still be attending college to complete my qualification and I’ll feel very proud when I look at the new building and be able to say what I played a part in supervising its construction and was involved in the build from start to finish.” Jacob Ellis, Apprentice Site Manager

“My college experience has given me some valuable insights into the construction process and the diverse roles available in the industry, but for me, the opportunity to have experience on site is priceless. It has helped me appreciate seeing plans become reality and truly value witnessing the future being built around me. With such a competitive industry, I’ve found it important to keep a good reputation and work well at college because genuine hard work and enthusiasm to learn and better develop yourself does not go unnoticed.” Lily Jordan, Apprentice Quantity Surveyor
